    Associate Financial Analyst

     

    As the Associate Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting and documenting financial analysis for the ISG division, as well as providing day-to-day financial support, including reporting and financial planning.

     

    We’ll trust you to make a big contribution to our team as you develop and grow – you will play a key part in helping us excel today and improve tomorrow!

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate, price, and act as the point of contact for Canon USA regarding Global Business initiatives in Canada
    • Support the basic financial planning activities for the division, including the preparation of 6 budgets annually
    • Provide support for the monthly P&L forecasts
    • Prepare basic assigned daily and monthly reports detailing business KPIs and financial P&Ls. 
    • Prepare and perform basic and intermediate monthly re-class and accrual journal entries
    • Identify GL coding errors and offer support in resolving them
    • Analyze monthly variances against budget and prior year results
    • Review monthly results with responsible managers

    Qualifications

    To Succeed, You Will Have

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Working towards obtaining your CPA designation
    • 1-2 years of related work experience
    • Ability to analyze data, determine variances, and identify potential issues
    • Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel and Powerpoint
    • Superb time management and multi-tasking skills
    • Good project and process management skills
    • French is considered an asset
