    Credit and Collections Representative

     

    Your outstanding relationship building skills and experience with large retail account reconciliation will help you succeed in managing your assigned portfolio of accounts.

     

    As the Credit and Collections Representative you will be responsible for managing an account portfolio under direct supervision, while ensuring prompt collection of accounts receivable. You will also be involved in reviewing and approving orders placed on credit hold, performs detailed account reconciliations and coordinates customer chargebacks ensuring prompt resolution.

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Liaise with customers to collect outstanding receivables
    • Reconcile assigned portfolio accounts and process customer credit card payments
    • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns regarding accounts
    • Liaise with Sale and Service Administration regarding contact changes
    • Prepare third party packages for referral and bad debt write-offs
    • Prepare ad hoc reports

    Qualifications

    To Succeed, You Will Have

    • College diploma in Business or related field
    • At least 12 months of relevant work experience
    • Strong time management/multi-tasking skills
    • Ability to analyze and assess customer inquiries and direct customers to appropriate departments
    • Good computer and technical skills – Microsoft Office proficiency with a focus on Excel
    • French is considered an asset
