    Repair Technician

     

    As the Repair Technician, you will be responsible for performing timely consumer-grade repairs on Canon equipment by troubleshooting, disassembling, reassembling, and performing adjustments.

     

    This opportunity is based out of our new state-of-the-art headquarters in Brampton located at the corner of Steeles Avenue and Mississauga Road on the Mississauga/Brampton border. 

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot, disassemble, and verify tolerances and technical specifications for any consumer-grade lens and camera bodies; and if necessary, verify estimates
    • Perform repairs on any consumer lens and camera bodies by disassembling, replacing components, and/or repairing components and verifying tolerances and specifications
    • Maintain knowledge of new products by reading manuals and attending training courses
    • Ensure that all work is completed in a manner that complies with Health and Safety Standards

    Qualifications

    To Succeed, You Will Have

    • Post-Secondary Education in Computer Science or Electronic Technology
    • 1-3 years of work experience
    • Exceptional technical skills to adjust lens resolution and camera focus, carry out software adjustments, and have a working knowledge of electro-mechanical repair and photography
    • Strong analytical skills to disassemble products to interpret and troubleshoot issues
    • Excellent computer skills to use photo editing software
    • Well-developed time management and multi-tasking
    • Good project and process management skills
