    As a Field Service Technician you will be providing superior customer service to Canon clients in the Brampton/Barrie service area by servicing and maintaining equipment in an efficient and timely manner.

    Responsibilities

     

    Your Key Objectives

    • Installation, configure, repair and maintain Single-function / Multi-functional and company products and systems at customer sites.
    • Performing equipment service on a required basis within specific time parameters.
    • Responding to customer calls in a prompt and efficient manner.
    • Completing preventative maintenance according to regular schedules.
    • Maintaining all Company tools and materials, including an accurate inventory of parts.
    • Communicating with the Supervisor regularly on all aspects of service.
    • Completing service and equipment performance reports as required
    • Comply with established operational standards

    Qualifications

     

    To Succeed, You Will Have:

    • Graduate of a post-secondary technical/technologist course in electronics
    • Previous field service experience an asset
    • Complete understanding of customer satisfaction
    • Excellent time management and communication skills
    • Proficient technical skills and aptitude, including electro-mechanical
    • Good computer skills and literacy
    • Thorough knowledge of and demonstrated ability to apply computer technology to customer requirements for networked products and systems solutions.
    • CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certified an asset. Will be required to complete certification within 6 months of employment.
    • Experience with network connectivity preferred
    • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
    • Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
    • Some travel will be required occasionally
