As the Business Development Manager, New Accounts you will be responsible for managing a team of Sales Representatives to provide direction on competitive strategies and drive results and sales targets  to grow Canon's market share.

 

Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities 

  • Help launch a new program and create a team of Business Development Sales Reps with the focus of directly acquiring new accounts from our competitors
  • Manage a team of salespeople and ensure that they are highly motivated to meet sales targets
  • Be active in the field, directly engaging with customers
  • Coach and develop the individuals on the team, enhancing their respective sales skills and helping to develop winning sales strategies
  • Manage the team’s performance through set KPIs
  • Ensure that sales quotas are met for assigned territory
  • 70% of your time will be in the field with your reps and 30% in the office.

Qualifications

 

 To Succeed, You Will Have

  • High school Diploma or equivalent; Post-Secondary education is preferred
  • 1-3 years in a Manager or high-level national sales role 
  • Superior time management/multi-tasking skills to adhere to strict client timeframes and adjust to various client schedules
  • Strong experience with Core, and Therefore
  • Exemplary analytical skills
  • Strong project/process management skills 
  • Excellent computer/technical skills with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
