    Based out of our Saint-Laurent office, the Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for building strong relationships with all levels of assigned client groups in order to deliver HR initiatives and strategies from the corporate head office. While acting as an employee champion and serving as a consultant to management - you will play a key part in helping us excel today and improve tomorrow!

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build and maintain partnerships with assigned client groups at all levels in the organization
    • Drive Human Resources strategies and initiatives to all levels of management in assigned client group from Corporate Head Office
    • Liaise and support the Talent Acquisition Team regarding recruitment activities for the assigned client groups
    • Promote and educate assigned client groups on Canon’s corporate policies
    • Consult on all people-related issues, i.e. performance management and employee relations
    • Act as the Regional representative in various functions including health & safety, disability management and branch specific initiatives.
    • Participate in the development of Human Resources strategic projects

    Qualifications

    To Succeed, You Will Need

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
    • Proficiency in French is required
    • 3-5 years of related work experience
    • Ability to interpret situations and apply appropriate policies and legislation
    • Exceptional time management/ multi-tasking skills
    • Strong project/process management skills to build, develop and execute projects
    • Excellent computer/technical proficiency; Microsoft Office programs with a focus on Excel
    • Experience with PeopleSoft is considered an asset
    • l'Ordre des CRHA is considered an asset
