    The New Business Development Representative is responsible for developing new business for Canon Canada through specific and varied verticals with the purpose of creating new Canon customers including the development of related sales methodologies.

    Responsibilities

     Responsibilities

    • Research market verticals, programs and methodologies to get product into specific markets identified by Canon
    • Cultivate relationships with customers and discover customer needs
    • Develop creative methods in the form of programs (marketing, financing, etc.) to meet the needs of specific market verticals and/or customers
    • Successfully close sales with new and existing customers
    • Develop lists of potential customers through a variety of methods

    Qualifications

    To Succeed, You will have:


    • Minimum high school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred
    • 5 - 8 years business development experience required
    • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communicator, high energy individual, proactive thinker
    • Self-starter, able to adapt to new work environments quickly, perform well under very tight deadlines
    • Results oriented with a demonstrated track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities
    • Well developed research and strategic analysis skills; ability to assess vertical and customer needs
    • Passion for cutting edge technology and a technical aptitude
    • Exceptional presentation skills, strong communicator; superb organizational and time management proficiency to support all phases of a sales cycle
    • Bilingualism in English & French is a definite asset
    • Salesforce experience an asset
