    Workflow Sales Specialist


    While representing one of the world’s most dynamic companies, the Workflow Sales Specialist (WSS) is responsible for sales growth and quota attainment through the sales & implementation of Canon-branded and third-party software solutions.  The WSS must be comfortable selling in either a team based environment or independently and be able to develop strong internal relationships, especially with all sales groups, pre/post-sales support personnel, marketing and management. 



    Key Responsibilties

    • Driving sales of Enterprise Software into new accounts for Canon
    • Partnering with account executives in the development of hardware requirements at client sites.
    • Engage with our Software Solutions Consultants for Scope and implementation
    • Tactical sales and demonstration of Canon software solutions into dedicated environments.
    • Keeping abreast of the trends in the workflow and software marketplace
    • Achieving or surpassing revenue targets within assigned portfolios by providing Canon/third-party solutions to end-user customers through various sales related activities
    • Providing Canon and 3rd party solutions advisory support with regards to workflow surveys assessments, RFP’s, RFQ’s, proposals and other sales activity
    • Acquiring, developing and demonstrating the use of “Value-Add” selling skills in accordance with company standards
    • Gathering Competitive information, brochures, marketing initiatives and strategic positioning, and sharing the information with team members
    • Providing a professional liaison with customers in assigned territories, ensuring excellent customer service
    • Developing and executing strategies with the intent of increasing Canon-branded and third-party software solutions sales 
    • Maintaining the Customer Information Database, iCAN.  Inputting information into iCAN for the purpose of managing the business relationships with current customers and for developing prospects. 


    To Suceed, You Will Have

    • 2+ years’ in Software IT sales
    • Post-Secondary education (Computer Engineering, Computer Science)
    • The incumbent of this role is required to resolve a wide range of issues (possible complexity) in creative and effective ways.
    • Experience with B2B software environments involving customer workflows, networks…
    • Excellent prospecting skills and new business generation skills
    • Workflow software and creative software knowledge
    • Exceptional PC skills and working knowledge of a number of business programs
    • Ability to learn continuously
    • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends
    • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
    • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
    • Networks with key contacts in own area of expertise.
